On the 15th of feb 1997 our billie-jo was taken from us in a brutal murder, she was a happy and
outgoing girl and was always happy go lucky. i remember when i was down i would chat to her on the
phone and she would always make me laugh. i remember going camping with billie-jo and darryl, her
brother, me and billie didnt want to go in the forest as we thought there were bears in there so we
stayed at the camp site and made daisy chains, this always sticks in my mind as billie was so upset
that mine was longer then hers! billie loved her family very much and even to this day it is very
hard to come to realise she has gone, its like a light has gone from our family but i pray she is
happy and can't wait to see her again.Always in our hearts gone but no forgotten love from your
cousin Michael and all your loving family.

Billie-Jo,
Sadly I never got to know you, and the countless grim newspaper articles about court cases and trials did little in helping to remember your life which was quite the opposite to being grim. Your bright, vivacious and full of life essence came through in the accounts made by your closest friends.
I remember a few years ago a short clip of you at school singing 'Good Ship Lollypop' and 'Big Spender' was shown on the news and I almost cried. Even on that grainy, shaky video footage, a definite star shines through in you and I know you would have realised your dream of becoming an actress.
On the eleventh anniversary of your untimely passing my thoughts are with your family and friends at this difficult time. One day I go to Hastings and visit your memorial in Alexandra Park. Your life will never be forgotten.

i live in Hastings and was shocked when i saw this on the news she was a pretty girl and sum1 so evil could take her life away like that it not fair she had her life ahead of her the whole of hastings was shocked and i think most still are today i for 1 am my heart goes out to all her family she is watching over you all godbless xx
